  • AoNoise

Hey, that’s right. Weren’t we supposed to be getting the Second Chapter like… forever ago?

    I’m a sad bear…

    • MrRobbyM

      Yeah…I doubt it anymore ._.

At this point, it’s more likely we’ll get these instead of the PSP version.

      • TheExile285

Why not just both if they are going to go through the trouble.

        • Because the barrier to entry on Steam (financially in particular) is considerably lower and honestly would probably pull a highe return. PSP has a small and dedicated market, but Steam has a wide user base that’s proving pretty willing to eat up whatever Falcolm throws out on there as is.

        • JazzyMan123

PSP has a low chance of happening I’m afraid. Back in an previous interview it was mentioned how Falcom is “a lot more hesitant in doing the localization programming”.

      • Let’s hope so. PSP ruined the last one. Game simply was not designed for a small screen.

        • JazzyMan123

Well yeah, remember it was originally on the PC…but then again, the PSP versions had extra features that the PC didn;t have.

  • Raltrios

My first time seeing the box art for the third game. Joshua looks so mature! No wonder the ladies are all over him.

Almost done with the first game. Very disappointed the others haven’t been localized :(

  • XyzzySqrl

Well… that’d be one reason to upgrade, I guess, in the event of an XSeed Steam release.

  • My heart skipped a beat, then I cried

  • asch999

Please bring them to US, XSEED.
    I don’t mind if it’s Steam only

    • TheRealMalek

if you take Ys example, i would say it’s already in the works.

      • MrRobbyM

Ys is a lot less text heavy and some of the Steam games have already had translations done. So if you ask me, it’s not anything to go by, but it does increase the chances ever so slightly.

  • PABLO Rapetti Perez

It is impossible that we get this on English right? I mean… I can only dream of playing through this long saga of epic RPG… and we only have chapter 1 translated :(

  • Go2hell66

    *profound sadness*

  • Jason A

    Steam? NA release? Hello….. :

    • MrRobbyM

*tumbleweeds roll in the distance to a quiet breeze*

    • CirnoLakes

In ten years, when XSEED catches up on everything.

      10 years… isn’t that long… nope… ;_;

      • Sylveria

At least you have a reason to keep your PSP well in to the 2020s?

        • deaththekid

Ha ha ha, that’s so sad but true!

    • Tom_Phoenix

      GOG? =(

  • JazzyMan123

    • M’iau M’iaut

Every article we post has a header right above the title with the market involved.

      • JazzyMan123

Whoops, missed that. Well, being awake at 1am does that to you lol.

  • Solomon_Kano

I almost screamed, but this is for Japan lol. Ah well. One day!

  • Romangelo

really? really? Windows 8 ? really?

  • ;________;

Time to start double-dipping and buying a physical and PSN copy of Trails. By god if this game wasn’t one of the best kept secrets on the PSP — and RPGs in general.

    • JazzyMan123

Yep. This is without a doubt one of Japan’s best-kept secrets…shame it took so long to enter the West though….

  • Warboss Aohd

Steam would make dis work so well.

  • Guest

I had to delete my first post because it was just a long string of expletives. This really really really pisses me off. The worst part is I bet when it bombs, they are going to shrug their shoulders and be like “Oh well! I guess no one really wanted this…”

  • CirnoLakes

    Yuck. Windows 8 store.

    • MrRobbyM

      More like, yuck, Windows 8.

  • TatsuyaKyo

  • JackDandy

  • Alexander Aubert

    YE…… crap japanese

  • Nice! Now do it in English please. Oh yeah… and on steam.

  • Göran Isacson

I would also throw in a wish to have this on Steam, but that would also mean it would be translated and that… well. That is something we will probably have to wait a good long time for.

  • creid8

    C’mon XSEED, make it happen!

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

    Falcom is trully everywhere lol.^_^

  • Shaun Huseman

I get almost completely sick and tired everytime I see this series mentioned now. Tons of different re-releases in Japan from the PS3 HD re-releases and now this. We are never going to get these games

  • ElAbuelo69

  • Zenthos

Relax. Since its on pc, there are going to be mods. And with mods, comes fan translations!

  • dahuuuundge

already played the Chinese version of SC and the Third on PC. The Steam version feels so far away…

  • Brandon001

lmao, japans is getting this twice over now, hahahah oh my god, seriously, i hate being american sometimes.

    • FFmax

      Yeah this is getting ridiculous.

      • Brandon001

man, idk if you’re a tales fan, but its BEEN ridiculous, and now that i got into LOH, its worse

        • FFmax

Yeah I’m a Tales fan too but we have at least been getting the newer console ones.

  • WyattEpp

At least they claim to support Windows XP, so these will probably run pretty well in Wine too.

Oh yeah, should probably mention that. Look at the box shots: it’s not “Windows 8” so much as just “Any windows from the last decade”.

  • Mr Snausages

Well, I guess the good news is that if its a PC release there’s the CHANCE of a fan translation and running it under app locale. One can only hope for the best whilst staying occupied with the rest…. :-/

  • Blightness

Meh. The first game was pretty average.
