image Shonen Jump confirmed Marco from the Whitebeard pirates is a playable character in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2. The magazine also had a blip about the partner strike system. Players have a partner gauge and when its full you can call out another character for a cooperative partner strike.

Jozu and Vista are shown to be partner characters in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 will be available for PlayStation 3 and Vita on March 20. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is also coming to North America and Europe this summer on PS3.

Isn’t the partner strike the same thing as the crew attack from the first game?

    • OathkeeperSoraXIII

yeah only you get to use more than 1 combo, you can use that character however you want until the gauge runs out

I’m tempted to link to Tenacious D’s Rize of the Fenix song. But the album picture is NSFW…

I love everything about Marco’s Devil Fruit. Plus that phoenix design! That bird is so baked.

  • OMG, I really wanted to play him in the first one, I was very sad that he didn’t even appeared. But now I’m very happy with this!

If they add Shanks, Im going to have to go to Japan myself.

Well then. I won’t say I’m a huge Marco fan, but I have to admit that they are REALLY going all out with these characters… I wonder if we’ll have all playable Supernovas as well, or if they’re saving THAT for the Sequel.
