Phantasy Star Online 2 Adds Chrome Dragon And “The First Farewell” Story For Vita

Phantasy Star Online 2 players have a new boss monster to fight. The latest update added the Chrome Dragon along with new events, equipment, and an update to the story.

 

Chrome Dragon

Once you meet certain conditions, the Chrome Dragon will appear after a short scene. The event can be activated in Vita and PC/Vita Blocks. If a player has encountered the Chrome Dragon in the Vita/PC Block, they can re-encounter it again in the PC Block.

 

Pairing up with other players who have not met the conditions for the event can also fight it, simply by being in the same party with at least one member who has met the conditions. Upon killing the Chrome Dragon, Phantasy Star Online 2  there will be a cut-scene.

Sega also added Toro and Kuro partner cards into Phantasy Star Online 2 that can be used to summon the cats. It will be required to clear the Client Order to acquire the cards.

 

The PlayStation Vita and PC versions of Phantasy Star Online 2 had separate story updates.

On Vita, the newly added content is Chapter 9: The First Farewell. The story revolves around a mysterious wild dragon that has been attacking Darkers, a popular idol by the name of Kuna, and a mysterious young girl appears and vanishes without a sound. There seems to be some sort of connection between this young girl and the Darker eating Chrome Dragon, known as Hadred. Who is this young lady and what is Hadred’s purpose?

The PC version is getting a side story called “Arks Combat Tournament”. The tournament was made to commemorate the defeat of Dark Falz. The event is a score attack tournament that reaches one end of Planet Naberius to the other. It will require taking out plenty of Darkers, as a way to help clean Naberius while having competitive fun between the participants.
