armored_core_vday_013From Software will release Armored Core: Verdict Day in Japan on September 26. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game adds a solo mode where you have an AI controlled partner mech and you can even command a squad of computer controlled mechs in operator mode.

If your mech explodes you can fly around with a jetpack just like Armored Core V. A new feature lets you take screenshots so you can become the team photographer if you get shot down.

Check out a batch of screenshots from Armored Core: Verdict Day here.

when they say ” fly around with a jetpack ” does that mean is like Armoed Core 1-4 where you fly all the way up to the sky or is it like Armoed Core V you jump on the building and boost forward then fall down slowly?

    • pretty sure it is like 5, in fact nearly all of the features that have been getting highlighted are actually already in the game, for instance the ai teammates (they’re very underwhelming). Controlling them all from operator mode seems new though.
