Darkstalkers Resurrection’s Retail Version May Have English Subtitles

By Spencer . March 5, 2013 . 1:08pm

imageIn North America and Europe, Darkstalkers Resurrection will be released as a downloadable game. Japan will get the compilation with Night Warriors: Darkstalkers and Darkstalkers 3 on a Blu-ray disc on March 14.

While the disc version is only for Japan, it appears Darkstalkers Resurrection will have Japanese and English text. The news comes from Sony Computer Entertainment Korea’s product page which notes the game has dual language for subtitles.

What’s unclear is if text for goals will be in English or not.

English subtitles for in battle voices would be nice, at least for the first few times playing. Once you get an idea of what they’re saying, that’s enough. :)

    this should happen more.
it is more profitable to add txt and let them import than providing them with many more copies than they want.

  • You know, I may have to import it then. I’m a huge sucker for anything Darkstalkers related when it comes to my collection. The only reason I’d held off before was not being to understand the (admittedly little) text in the game.

English for subtitles, but will we be able to set the menus in English? If so, I’d defnitely be down to import.

  • Yes! Finally lol. I hope they will keep working on more Darkstalkers projects as well.

Ha ha, but won’t this annihilate the games chances in the West because everyone knows importing is Satans invention? Or is that just a thing with Atlus?
