Bravoman the arcade game turned into a web comic series is getting an cartoon series. The teaser for Bravoman: Super-Unequaled Hero of Excellence appears to have the same offbeat humor with Alphaman telling Bravoman what to do similar to a video game tutorial.

Bravoman: Super-Unequaled Hero of Excellence features Rob Paulsen (the voice of Pinky) as Bravoman and Alphaman. Dee Bradley Baker plays Anti-Bravo and villain Doctor Bomb. The series is scheduled to air in spring 2013.

Is it just me or does Bravoman sound like someone from Teen Titans? I can’t put my finger on it but it totally sounds like someone off that show.

    • JonathanisPrimus

      Bravoman’s played by Rob Paulsen.

      • Nightmesh

and with some help from google found out he was the evil tofu in one episode.

  • Randgriz

    Megaman! Megaman!

  • I would’ve prefer Katamari or Klonoa as a cartoon show instead, because I like both those webcomics (along with Wonder Momo and Valkyrie). But since Bravoman is one of the first webcomics uploaded in Namco’s shiftylook site, I guess it was to be expected. All comics there are very cool reads, though!

I’d love a Klonoa cartoon as well, though with how Namco treats the series they’d probably bring back his awful dub voice from the remake to play him.

  • Sergio Briceño

Looks like a fun show. Looking forward to the cartoon.

Huh. I am completely okay with Shiftylook turning it’s videogame webcomics into cartoons. Here’s to hoping Wonder Momo gets her turn in the spotlight too! And maybe, if I dare dream, the comic they’re making based on that “Tales of the Heike” clans too.

  • MoriyaMug

    His name is Robert Paulsen.

    • I am sure no one has ever said this to him before

  • Wait, how is this anime? The entire production team is American.

  • Quinton Cunningham

It was cool to see Paulsen doing that good old familiar voice again, but I don’t think this qualifies as anime in the truest sense.

  • The webcomic is fantastic, I’ve been reading it for a few years now. The cartoon looks great and they got Rob Paulsen on it (I imagined Bravoman something akin to his voice talents). Can’t wait for this to come out.
