Hatsune Miku Goes Old School With After Burner Crossover

By Spencer . March 12, 2013 . 1:10am

Sega is bringing two of their arcade hits together by adding an After Burner remix in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade. "37" and "Senbonzakura" will also be added to Project Diva Arcade on March 19.

Yes, this is an announcement for Japan, but Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade machines are trickling over to North America. Round 1 in Puente Hills California tested one last month and the official Hatsune Miku page run by Crypton says more test locations will be announced soon.

Okay, the After Burner remix is actually pretty sweet. Hoping it’ll make its way as DLC for Project Diva F/f or a future console/handheld port.

Well Sega that’s a good way to disrespect a arcade classic franchise. Just stick it with some singing game nonsense? Ridiculous
