Help The Kamen Riders Regain Their Lost Memories In Kamen Rider: Battride War

By Sato . March 12, 2013 . 4:59pm

The new and original story takes place in a parallel universe, where the 14 riders of Bandai Namco’s Kamen Rider: Battride War have lost their memories. It is unknown as to why they’ve gathered and what caused them to lose their memories.

The enemies in the PlayStation 3 game are powerful villains who’ve been defeated by the 14 Riders in the past. They are back for revenge in Kamen Rider: Battride War and have made it their goal to defeat the Riders. The heroes of Kamen Rider: Battride War will unite forces in order to defeat their past enemies, once again, in this all-star Kamen Rider club against evil.

Fights will take place on huge fields. Riders can use motorcycles to cover ground faster or roll over enemies.

Chronicle Mode is the game’s main feature, where you’ll be clearing missions in the original story of Kamen Rider: Battride War. By advancing through the story, the riders will recollect their memories and abilities while solving the mysteries behind the parallel universe.

Missions are split up into several chapters. By completing all the missions, you can unlock the next chapter of the story.

After selecting the mission, you’ll be prompted to pick the Rider for the fight, followed by their abilities and special attacks. Depending on each mission, there will be certain Riders to pick from, you can also collect figures throughout your play and use their abilities to power each Rider.

The action starts right after you select a Rider. Other Riders can join in on the fight as an ally in special events. In order to clear the mission, you must defeat all the enemies.

Once you clear a mission, you’ll see a result screen showing your total points and EXP gained. By leveling up, the Riders will regain their lost abilities along with their memories.

Kamen Rider: Battride War will be coming out on May 23rd for PlayStation 3.

There won’t ever be a good rider game will there?

    • s07195

This one looks okay so far, even if the story is a bit forced. My friend is really hyped up for it, he’s a total toku fan.

    • Samurai Don

Depends on what you mean by “good”

Personally I can’t wait to get my hand on the game and play it. Granted there’s that sneaky feeling that some of the Kamen Rider will be DLC only but I can deal with that should that happen.

      • Auvers

        Not this

    • OverlordZetta

You can’t be serious. I’ve been dreaming of a Musou-style Rider game for as long as I’ve been a Rider fan.

      • Auvers

        That makes one of us.

    • Climax Heroes was pretty solid…

    • Xaxal_Ravenguard

Depends on perspective. I don’t expect this game to be the Red Dead Redemption for Kamen Rider games and will likely enjoy it for what it is.

      • Auvers

Well that’s just settling for whatever then.

        • Xaxal_Ravenguard

Not really. That just means I’m settling for a good/ok game as opposed to a great/excellent game. There’s more than two ways of looking at a situation, my friend.

          • Auvers

no… that’s literally settling you just said it was settling…

          • Xaxal_Ravenguard

Yes, I said I was settling. But again, I’m settling for a good/fine game as opposed to a great/excellent game.

Afterall, There’s more than just two ways of looking at things. Try it.

I’m kind of interested in this but also a bit apprehensive. I wish it was being developed by Omega Force though. I remember when people were saying that one Saint Seiya game was on par with an Omega Force game and being sorely disappointed.

  • GaiunxWolfenX

this game actually looks good (here is hoping that it is) and just to notice, doesn’t this story sounds A LOT like Kamen Rider Decade’s epilogue? not that there is anything wrong with that

  • OverlordZetta

14? We’ve got well past 14 confirmed already through trailers and such.

    • 14 playable, it is unknown if Riders like Birth, Meteor or Skull will be playable (most likely not)

  • Nitraion

    Be Good game…. PLEASE… :D

  • gamerdude

Ah just based on the cover I’d buy it (for 17dollars no less!)
this seems loaded with camp value.

  • gustave154
