3D Super Hang On Revving Up For Nintendo 3DS On March 27

3dsuperh_11Sega is reviving some of their arcade classics with 3D ports and a wealth of configuration options. 3D Space Harrier was pretty impressive and now Sega is focusing their efforts on Super Hang On.

3D Super Hang On is a port of the arcade game with stereoscopic 3D graphics, widescreen support, and gyro sensor controls that simulate being in the arcade machine. When you tilt your 3DS you "tilt" the virtual arcade cabinet.

Sega also added gameplay options like a replay saving and mid race saving. You can also tweak the difficulty and the time limit. Players can even choose what version of Super Hang On to play, "Mini Ride On Type" or "Sit Down Type." The "Sit Down" version is more difficult.

So it would like $4.99 here? I’d buy it.

Considering in Sega websites, they still have 2 spots left, I believe After Burner and Outrun is going to get their own 3D classics here.^_^
If only Top Gear can also get the same treatment.T_T

After Burner and Outrun are pretty good guesses, but I wouldn’t count out Galaxy Force or Power Drift either as dark horse candidates.

If Outrun Live Arcade is any indication, I don’t think Outrun is going to make it sadly.

  • Oh heck yeah. Still waiting on Space Harrier. ._.

Oh, how awesome would it be, Virtual On 3D. Twin stick mecha mayhem.

Very cool. Fingers crossed for this and Space Harrier here in America. I think After Burner would be the best choice for this series.
