Toriko Four Player Fighting Game Will Be Served In July

Toriko: Gourmet ga Battle is going in a different direction than the other Toriko titles since it isn’t a hunting game. This four player game for Nintendo 3DS is kind of like PowerStone… with delicious monsters to cook up. Namco Bandai says the genre is a four player fighting action game. On top of Toriko, players will be able to select the other Four Heavenly Kings.

Nitro is also playable if you get Toriko: Gourmet ga Battle at launch. A special card is packed in with first print copies that has a 2D barcode which unlocks Nitro as a playable character.

Toriko: Gourmet ga Battle is scheduled to come out on July 4 in Japan.

No idea who’s developing it? Must be outsourced. Natsume did the PSP games. Why are BN so secretive about the devs of their 3DS licensed games?

    We don’t know who did:

    Toriko Gourmet ga Battle
    Toriko Gourmet Monsters
    Magi: The Lost Labyrinth
Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission (Dimps did the arcade version, this isn’t on their website though…)

They’ve only let loose that Inti Creates did Gon, Grampa Danger,, and Naruto Powerful Shippuden IIRC. Oh, and I want to see Gon in NA! :(

They should make a Toriko game like monster hunter on PS3 or PS Vita. You hunt down animals with higher capture levels etc.

There was Toriko: Gourmet Survival series for the PSP.

  • Spirit Macardi

I want this game in the US. I’ve been buying the DVD releases of Toriko from Funimation almost as soon as they come out, and this would be perfect to have alongside them!

Even more perfect would be the addition of an English voice track with Ian Sinclair and everyone else from the dub.
