The Monster Hunter Frontier series is getting a "G" version on April 15. Monster Hunter Frontier G for PC and Xbox 360 has additional monsters and new gear like Sengoku Basara crossover armor. Capcom and Type-Moon also made crossover content with Fate/stay Night costume parts and weapons.

Saber has the Excalibur: Sword of Promised Victory (great sword) and Caiburn: Golden Sword of the Victorious (long sword). Archer has special dual blades and a Fate/stay bow.

Monster Hunter Frontier G comes out on April 15 in Japan.

    *sigh* the looks pretty depressing

  • MrJechgo

Sure, Capcom causes players to panic since the PSP fighting game will disappear from PSN due to not renewing the Fate/Zero license, but somehow managed to get costumes from that same series for Monster Hunter…

    • zferolie

Didn’t that already disappear? I kinda wanted to get that

      • MrJechgo

It,s already gone… but that was a cheap move since they got these costumes announced.

      • JakatoX

You know you could stil buy Fate/Unlimited Codes through PSN download codes that you can buy from places like Gamestop, those still actually work.

    • LynxAmali

      -Fate/Zero license,

It’s not Fate/ Zero. It was Fate/Unlimited Codes. Which was based off of Stay Night.

      There’s a difference.

      Capcom USA = / = Capcom Japan.

      • ChromeOrihara

Maybe he was saying that they needed a Fate/Zero license for Fate/Unlimited Code because of the Fate/Zero character in the game?

        • LynxAmali

          They didn’t.

UC was released long before Zero was ever animated. The character that was in the game was based off of the Fate Zero novel.

  • Kenny Loh

LOL, nice one, Capcom, disable the ratings in videos like Square-enix because they afraid to get too many dislikes lol

  • zweii

There must be something in the prana since the weapons have gone huge.

    • Or maybe the Hunters are secretly Hobbits? :D

  • Sergio Briceño

First time I read about this on this site I thought it was awesome. But I wasn’t prepared for this trailer, nor did I comprehend just how awesome it would actually turn out to be. Shame on me.

  • Zonic505

There’s gotta be a name for this crossover….

    ….Fate/Hunt Monsters? Monster/Hunter Night?

    • neocatzon

      Monster/Stay Hunted.

  • shuyai

lol at the scene where Shirou at the floor and saber standing looking at him. thats is almost as memorable as the ET finger scene XD

  • Göran Isacson

    … I admit, I am amused.

  • Yamaneko22

Cool. What about using Noble Phantasms? ;3

    • Not enough mana in MH verse XD

  • J_Joestar

Looks awsome, i wanna Excaliblast a Rathalos!

  • Raltrios

The trailer looks great. Feels like just had s- like my mana just got recharged.

  • Vash bane

    that actually looked cool

  • Rudy Soto

I’d say this is wasted potential. I mean, they get points for including Archer and not just Saber, but they could have added Berserker’s Nine Lives as a Long Sword to emulate his insane swinging, or a great sword if needed.
They could have added Lancer’s Gae Bolg for Lances, with a Rho Aias shield for a bit of irony.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

    Pokemon X monster hunter Next!!

  • Better than “Saber” frm that another crossover. They got the face right and its not creepy :)

  • Alexander Marquis Starkey

No one notices that Excalibur is still in its sheath being used as a weapon…or rather, it’s scabbard.

  • Visa Vang

Where’s Archer’s Unlimited Blade Works? I’ll be sold if there’s that.

  • zferolie

Why can’t this ever come here? these monsters look awesome
