imageGundam Breaker, an upcoming mecha game where players fight with plastic Gundam models, is in a beta test. Namco Bandai has been testing the game’s battle modes including the giant Gundam vs. regular Gundam fights.

The final game, set for release on PS3 on June 27 will be an improved version of Gundam Breaker. Famitsu reports there will be officer and operator roles. Also, ally Gundams will be able to support you in single player mode. There are many other changes that haven’t been posted online yet.

Gundam Breaker will also be released for PlayStation Vita at a later date.

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know which was the last Gundam game that was localized?

Edit: thanks for the reply guys. I’m still pissed that Gundam Unicorn hasn’t been brought over!

Gundam musou 3 which was 2 years ago iirc

    • LynxAmali

Counting the DW games? 3 was two years.

The last legit Gundam game? Crossfire, 2006.

Still pissed about Mobile Ops/ Operation Troy.

There is that SD Gundam Capsule fighter online thing.

    • Thing about Unicorn is while I enjoyed the game it’s very short. The majority of the games content is DLC, and not free.

please namco bring this to north america.

  • I’m not that impressed with this game yet. I’m still waiting for that next gundam game to be as good as Gundam 0081.

  • I just hope those allies in singleplayer are useful. The game can be quite hard if you try to solo, at least in the beta.

From what I played in the Beta the allies are helpful, they help take down enemies and help you recover when you need it or unable to move. Though sometimes you get people who don’t want to help at all but they’re usually on the useful side.
