Now, Everyone Can Play As Bayonetta In Anarchy Reigns

By Spencer . April 9, 2013 . 11:02pm

bayoWhen Sega released Anarchy Reigns in North America, Bayonetta was an exclusive character you could only get if you purchased the online brawler at Gamestop.

Now, you can purchase Bayonetta as a DLC add-on for $0.99 on the PlayStation Store. With her wicked weave, Bayonetta is arguably the strongest character in the game. Anarchy Reigns is also available on the PlayStation Store for $29.99.

THIS IS DELICIOUS! also about time everyone could get their weave on her

  • MrSirFeatherFang

    I can afford this!
…without having to add funds to my account :D

    • Linhua

      … LOL… I don’t believe this… I am 5 cents short.

-Mutters- … KNEW that .99 crap was gonna bite me in the ass…

      • That’s the very one thing I hate about PSN and Xbox Live. Nintendo you can pay the remaining with your card. Microsoft and sony doesn’t do this and expect you to buy a certain amount.

        • Armane

But Sony let’s you pay the remaining amount as long as it’s over a certain amount (£5 in the UK).

  • XypherCode

    Good deal! :)

  • Warboss Aohd

    an’ da 360 version?

    • SpecDotSign

This game came out on 360?! lol just kidding. =p

  • Curan_Altea

It’d be really cool if the Battle Royal mode becomes dlc too. Not all of my friends preordered the game, and after playing the story it was the first thing I did. Most fun I’ve had online with strangers.

    • Len

Battle Royale is in the standard game, the DLC modes were Mad Survival and Dogfight

      • Curan_Altea

Excuse me while I kill myself for being an idiot.

  • Ceci “Ruzuzu” Kiyomizu

Yay I can now buy it! Before Gamestop screwed up and told me I didn’t pre order it or somtn made me upset.

  • z_merquise

Finally! Better get this as soon as I connect my PS3 online again.

  • Aoshi00

I pre-ordered this from Gamestop just because of the Bayonetta DLC, but haven’t played so much and now the games is only $20.. sometimes the store-specific pre-order DLC would be made available, but sometimes they won’t like the Sonic Generations Casino stage (available on Jpn/EU PSN/XBL, but not for the US for some reason) $1 for Byao is a bargain :)

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

    Bout time.
Though Bayonetta doesn’t have a weave lol

    • Her outfit is made of hair, I think XD
      That might be weave :P

    • The giant hair attacks are called “Wicked Weave”.

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

    Bout time.
Though Bayonetta doesn’t have a weave lol

  • Lexaus_the_Alchemist

$0.99 is like the perfect price for DLC. If only other games could adopt such generosity…

    • GO! GO! ED

Isn’t she only this cheap because she pretty much came stock on all new games? I doubt many people will need to ‘buy’ her.

      • Vesperion

She was a pre-order bonus for gamestop. Code came out on the receipt

        • GO! GO! ED

Ah, guess Europe was lucky then having her in all new games.

  • MrTyrant

There are also extra modes, but those are new right? they weren’t in the original game if i remember. Gotta play the multiplayer again, it was very fun.

0.99 is very cheap for a character, i love that. We need to see this kind of price more often.

  • Arguably? She is strong yes, but she also stuns much much easier then other chars, so in straight up pvp she can be beat down pretty easily.

  • Nitraion

Instantly buy and try the character as soon in PSN this morning lol…
and its 0.99$ for chara.. Finally!!

  • Zenthos

Now THIS is how you price your dlc.
Not ludicrous $5.00 dlc packs for content that only provides a few dozen minutes, from a certain game.

  • hawk222

Dang, and right after I returned the game to GameFly… I knew something like this would happen.

  • zero254

JHKW glitch everywhere now for 99cents
