Injustice: Gods Among Us Has Quick Move List & Off TV Play On Wii U

By Spencer . April 10, 2013 . 6:02pm

imageInjustice: Gods Among Us comes out next week. We’ve seen the DC fighting game a couple of times and tested out the Street Fighter-like controls too. However, NetherRealm Studios hasn’t said much about the Wii U version.

What makes it different? Well, Injustice: Gods Among Us on Wii U supports off-TV play so Green Lantern can fight Deathstroke on the gamepad. If you’re playing with a TV you can put an optional quick moves list on the gamepad.

Other versions of Injustice: Gods Among Us have a quick moves list too, but commands are shown underneath a player’s life bar. In the PS3 and Xbox 360 version you can change which commands are shown at anytime by accessing the pause menu.

Well that’s excellent news! I LOVE off-tv play.

Wonder if these devs ditched the VITA in favor of the Wii U.. Didn’t they make the MKVita?

You never know, they might port it to Vita sometime in the future.
After all the DLC is out.

I hope so, because I no longer have a PS3, no interest in getting a 360, and can’t afford a new PS3 or WiiU, and I have a Vita.

      Edit: WOOOO 1 downvote!!!

I really love fighting games. I plan to buy all the fighting games for my Wii U. Treat it like its a Neo Geo.

Man I can’t wait to see all the alt costumes in the game.

I hope it’s not as bad as Street Fighter was on the 3DS. The amount of people who abused the touch controls online was ridiculous. It’s fine if they add the option to disable the feature but it took longer to find matches that way.

Still though I digress, can’t wait to try it out.

I love that feeling I get when my Gouken kicks the crap out of a guy who spams the touch controls.
I still use the touch controls, but only as an EXPunch and EXKick panel, because all the other control schemes on other consoles have that.

seems like they don’t really care about this version as i believe it still doesn’t have a demo
