Armored Core: Verdict Day Has Over 100 New Mecha Parts

By Spencer . April 16, 2013 . 1:10am

FromSoftware gave players more customization options in Armored Core: Verdict Day by adding a bunch of new parts. Take the Heat Machinegun pictured above as an example. This is a CE system with rapid fire.

The Plasma Missile is another new part that emits a plasma blast upon impact.

If you’re the kind of player that rushes into combat maybe the Blade will suit you since this weapon is designed for physical attacks. Other players can counter by equipping a shield that either protects KE, CE or TE stats. You can also remodel your mech’s legs to tank treads, a quadruped, reverse jointed legs, and boring in comparison bipod legs.

I wonder how many teams Fromsoftware has? I always have this impression that they are a small company and that they’re focused on DS2 right now.

Anyway those pics looks really good.

Armored Core is an MMO now, at least the mechs still managed to look cool.

    • Wut ? It plays almost like its previous entries, just adds a slightly heavier focus on Multiplayer. Given with the fact that you can create your own AI Companions makes it even less of a MMO.

It plays nothing like AC4 and AC4 was a pretty big jump from AC1, 2 and 3. But I’m also confused as to where weirtsh’s MMO comment came from…

  • Another game I cant wait to play. Still need to get better at melee fights against other players on this game. I usually end up getting sniped out of balance then sniped to death.
