Sega’s Extended Look At 7th Dragon 2020-II Ends With A Giant Dragon Battle

By Spencer . April 16, 2013 . 3:00pm

Set a year after the events in 7th Dragon 2020, 7th Dragon 2020-II adds an idol class and new dungeons like a Roppongi area. Players will fight dragons that drop poisonous flowers and that’s one heck of a boss fight at the end of the video. Director Dai Oba is playing the fight with producer Rieko Kodama.

7th Dragon 2020-II comes out on April 18 in Japan.

we need in the west soo badly

At some point we’ll just have to pull our pants up and start learning some Japanese.
It’s unlikely for a game strictly for the PSP in Japan to be localised in the West, to my mind.
I can’t wait for these things, I’m going in.

    • We need all 3. DS one included.

I know, just look at this artwork. Though Sega + PSP means it’s impossible. Also Sega is not doing well financially and I don’t think it would be good to publish it in the west with the state it’s in. Too bad.

  • Somehow, someway this needs to be localized. I really want to play this so bad.

  • This one is on the way from japan in a few weeks or so. The funny thing is I dont even have a psp and I purchased it mainly for the first press bonuses. I am hoping i am forced to buy a US version once localized.

  • I absolutely love chibi style graphics like this. You see like one game out of 200 with this style, so I hope this comes out here. Kinda wish they had released a PSP XL, though I guess being able to hook it up to your tv is good enough, though that is too big for a lot of games.
