By Spencer . May 7, 2013 . 10:36pm

toukTecmo Koei tweaked the demo for Toukiden, a hunting game where players fight Oni. Producer Ogasawara tweeted that a patch that updates the action demo was released today.

The demo has a bunch of gameplay tweaks like increasing movement speed, adjusting attack speed, increasing your energy recovery. and a bunch of weapon modifications. Looks like a significant balance patch and this is just for a Vita demo. PSP users will get a chance to try the action demo in late May.

And if you haven’t played Toukiden you can grab a demo for the Vita on the PlayStation Store. Toukiden is slated for release in Japan on June 27 for PSP and Vita.

Vita is region lock free.. so its not much a problem if you understand English. Have to pay extra for importing, though..

I had assumed Toukiden would be multiplayer-able though, and I’m not sure that importing it helps – please let me know if it actually works.
