Madhouse Animated Touch Detective’s Mushroom Mascot, Funghi

Success Corp and Beeworks have been pretty successful recently thanks to Touch Detective. Well, more specifically Funghi, the macot mushroom from the Touch Detective series, who is a star in Japan. While not as popular as say Hello Kitty, Funghi appears on all sorts of things from cell phone charms to presents inside crane machines.

The are a series of Funghi games in Japan for mobile phones and soon the Nintendo 3DS. Madhouse, the animation studio behind Death Note and the Persona 4: Golden opening movie, made a trailer for Nfunfu Cup Funghi’s Big Sports Meet which is a preview of the next Funghi project.
