Bravoman Animated Series "Skips The Boring Parts"

By Spencer . May 20, 2013 . 11:18pm

Namco Bandai revived the arcade beat ‘em up Bravoman and turned the stretchy hero into an excellent webcomic and now an animated series. Shiftylook produced the animated series which stars Rob Paulsen (Gray Fox in Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes) as Bravoman and Alphaman. Dee Bradley Baker is Doctor Bomb and Bravoman’s nemesis Anti-Bravo.

The Bravoman animated series will lead up to a brand new Bravoman game for mobile devices which will be available this summer.

I don’t know why, but when I read the “skips the boring parts” line, I picture it being an official abridged series.

It… it kinda was, in a way.

Who wouldn’t watch this just for the yakko.

That, The Mask, Raphael and the current Donatello.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I expected some stellar voice work considering who’s involved, but I didn’t figure that the animation would be so crisp and smooth considering it’s a free internet production.

Also the casting has me imagining Yakko vs. Viewtiful Joe XD

This should become a full length Saturday cartoon show! o__O Watching this only makes me miss Animaniacs even more… Edit: And I agree that the animation is very crisp.

A little bit too talky for a show that is supposed to “skip the boring parts”, but for a budget show I was entertained by the script and the nice animation… when said animation actually happened.
