Xbox One’s Controller Has A Better D-Pad

Microsoft touted "over 40" innovations for the Xbox One controller like an integrated battery pack and making it more ergonomic. One important fix is the shoddy d-pad on the Xbox 360 controller. Microsoft says the Xbox One controller has a precision directional pad.


Kinect has been enhanced too with better joint tracking and a 1080p camera.

    And yet I can’t help but think it’ll be just as shoddy.. if there’s one thing I’ve always despised on Xbox, it’s that d-pad.

    With all the great 2D xbox live arcade titles a good d-pad was sorely missed, glad to hear that issue was addressed. I hope it turned out nice.

    hopefully nintendo wont sue them…. its sad that sony screw up in the ps4 controller with that dpad….

    the slim 360 dpad isn’t THAT bad even if it’s mushy.

    This new one looks too much like one off naff 3rd party PC pad.

    *shakes head* 40 innovations for the controller Microsoft? Why didn’t you do some good innovations for the important thing, the console as well?
