Dear Friends, Remastered Final Fantasy V Is Slated For August 7

ffvasSquare Enix is making remastered soundtracks for the three Super Famicom Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy IV Original Soundtrack Remaster Version will be available on July 3.


The Final Fantasy V Original Remaster Version is scheduled to come out a month later on August 7. The 3,200 yen ($31) CD has classic tracks like the "Final Fantasy V Main Theme" and "Clash on the Big Bridge." First print copies have an illustration from Yoshitaka Amano as a bonus.


Final Fantasy VI Original Soundtrack Remaster Version will be released afterwards sometime this summer.

      That’s about average for a CD in Japan though. Imports yo.

      • Not really, I have lots of import cds I’ve bought and will be getting for under $20 and no they aren’t the SM version
