Namco Bandai’s free to play Gundam game has been quite successful in Japan. Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation uses up energy cubes each time you sortie for a mission. The game was developed for PlayStation 3 and a companion app lets you customize your Gundam while you’re on the go.

The Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Support Application is available now as a free download on the PlayStation Store.

Hm. If only you could play the full game on Vita as well. Deleted it from my PS3 to free up some space, but it was enjoyable. I’d certainly get back into it if they brought the full experience to the Vita.

agreed, but eh, they’re going to release gundam Breaker sooner or later on both, so i guess that’s even better

Gundam Breaker won’t be free though lol.

still playing this for one year now

  • Too bad the game is horrible and broken. I think it’s the first gundam game I did not like.

if its broken then why is it still being played after a year?

The title screen reminds me somehow of COD…
Is it me or publishers are getting increasingly obsessed with this :(
