See Sony’s Puppet Hero As A Wrestler And A Pirate

By Spencer . June 5, 2013 . 11:16pm

Puppeteer from Sony Computer Entertainment’s Japan studio turns heads into power ups. Kutaro can pick up a golden skull helmet that transforms him into a body slamming wrestler or the hook which turns him into a pirate with a handy hook arm. Actually, the pirate powerup looks more like Bionic Commando than Captain Hook.

Puppeteer is slated for release on September 10 for PlayStation 3. The game will be playable at E3 and we’ll be able to get our hands on the platformer next week. Here’s a look at the game’s E3 trailer.

  • I’ve been looking forward to this game since it got announced some time ago, it really has a unique style and personality to it and reminds me abit of Clockwork Knight.

Due to recent games I’ve played.

This reminds me of LBP mixed with Giana Sisters (look it up on Steam, fun platformer).

And JapanStudio… Ah… Think we’ll hear about The Last Guardian this E3? or should we just assume it’s dead Jim.

I like how it’s turning out so far. I’m guessing you’re going to be switching on and out of different head abilities very often. I look forward to the challenge.
