Sony Introduces A Number Of Indie Titles On PlayStation Platforms

Sony’s E3 press conference wrapped up moments ago, where we were treated to many surprises we’ll be seeing for the PlayStation 4. Big hit titles aside, Sony reaffirmed their dedication to independent developers by allowing them to self-publish on PlayStation 4. We got a look at some of the upcoming indie titles, but here are some more that were posted on PlayStation.Blog site.

 

Here’s a list of the games and their developers that were shown during the conference:

  • Don’t Starve – Klei
  • Galak-Z – 17-bit
  • Mercenary Kings – Tribute Games
  • Octodad: Dadliest Catch – Young Horses
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddyssey New ‘n’ Tasty – Oddworld Inhabitants (Also coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita)
  • Outlast – Red Barrels
  • Ray’s the Dead – Ragtag Studio
  • Secret Ponchos – Switchblade Monkeys
  • Transistor – Supergiant Games

 

In addition to these games, there will be plenty of other indie titles that are expected to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita. Many of these games are available on Steam, but they will be marking their console debut on Sony systems, which will be available for hands-on play at the PlayStation booth for those attending E3 this year.
