Ecco the Dolphin is coming to Nintendo 3DS on June 26. On top of a 3D facelift, Sega added a new Super Dolphin Mode. Turn this on and Ecco is totally invincible and doesn’t even need to worry about getting air. Sega added this in so players can soak in the story rather than worry about leaping out of water.

3D Ecco the Dolphin also allows players to switch between the Japanese game and overseas release. The Japanese version is more difficult and has other tweaks. This version also has a quicksave slot and an option to emulate a classic tube TV.
3D Ecco the Dolphin will cost 600 yen ($6) in Japan.
