Your Diary, a PC game from Cube where you play as a high school student who finds a magic book, is coming to PSP this fall. The PSP version has a revised scenario with extra events and illustrations. Kaho Enomoto and Natsuki Fujimura who were sub-characters in the original game have been promoted to heroines in Your Diary for PSP.

This is great news! Your Diary was a very beautiful VN both artistically and visually. I really liked Yuhi’s route. Maybe I have a soft spot on childhood friend characters and their stories. And Kaho becoming heroine is awesome cause she was my 3rd favorite character.

Kotorin, may I ask for a a more detailed plot summary/synopsis aside frm “Boy find magic book”?

Taken from Your Diary’s VNDB page:

Tomoki is a second-year student at Fuumisaka Gakuen. Since his parents are working overseas, he lives at his osananajimi Yuuhi’s place. He is part of the library committee and helps out at Yuuhi’s family cafe Yuugaotei after school. One day, his senpai and library committee head Sayuki recommends a particular book to him, so he goes to the old bookstore Fuurindou to look for it. At the urging of the owner Misuzu, he takes some time to look around the store and his eyes stop at one book: an old hardcover book titled ‘your diary’. Tempted by curiosity, he opens the book with a key provided to him by Misuzu and a girl comes out in a bright light. “Are you Yua’s new friend?” The self-proclaimed goddess Yua tells him that she will help bring him happiness.

… osananajimi? Oh deary me, clearly that was written by someone who thinks it’s cool to use random romanised Japanese instead of just translating it.

It means childhood friend for anyone who doesn’t have some level of Japanese knowledge.

  • Holylifestar

A bit confused :/, will it have an official English release? I mean, there was quite a bit of English in the trailer.

    • DyLaN

Most likely not (yet?). Japanese do love to use english for cool factor in their trailers.

      • Radiosity

Yeah, no chance in hell, sorry. You’ll see random English (and occasionally other languages) in pretty much anything Japanese like this. Suppose it’s sort of like the Japanese equivalent of fansubbers leaving Japanese words in instead of translating them.

    • Kelohmello

Probably not. However this is getting a fan translation as we speak, so if you’re interested you can probably use google-fu to get that for the PC version.

  • DyLaN

Kantoku is doing the art!? SOLD (If there a translation). One of the girl kinda look like the girl with stone face in Henneko w/out the stone face :)

  • Junko Enoshima

    Whoa, wasn’t this an H-game?!

    • DyLaN

This wasn’t the 1st eroge tht gotten a cleaned up console port….

  • https://twitter.com/Ni_Go_Zero_Ichi Project 2501

So which of these doe-eyed underage girl doll-things can you, y’know, diddle?

    • DyLaN

Console port is usually the cleaned up edition, so nope. The PC ver is getting a fanpatch though.

    • Radiosity

As Dylan Ng said, not in this version. In the original the main girls are the black haired (Sayuki), orange haired (Yuuhi), brunette with little braided ponytail (Kanade) and of course the diary girl Yua with pink hair.

  • LETS PRAY FOR LOCALIZATION

Aww man this is perfect for western people ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Radiosity

Ugh, WHY PSP. Vita please. Also, Kantoku is a god among artists.

    glorious kantoku art<3
