Tokyo Jungle Coming To PlayStation Mobile On July 10

imageTokyo Jungle, the creative PlayStation C.A.M.P. game where you control different animals wandering in Japan, is coming to PlayStation Mobile. Leaks from this week’s issue of Famitsu says it has a top down perspective, which suggests it won’t be exactly the same as the PlayStation 3 game.

PlayStation Mobile titles are compatible with Vita and select Android devices. Tokyo Jungle is scheduled to come out on July 10 and will only cost 300 yen ($3) at launch. Afterwards, the game will go up to its usual price of 600 yen ($6).

Why didn’t they do this months ago???

  • Lester Paredes

Why didn’t they make this a real Vita title?

    • benhofb

Right?! I feel like it would be a bit cooler if it was a direct Vita port.

We’d be in the minority. Everyone else would be all: WHAT’S WITH ALL THE PORTS!?

        • Armane

I’d say that and still get it (if the DLC became cross-buy).

        • Because we’re not all *entirely* hypocrites. We may say that, among other things. And yet, we will end up buying. It is roughly $3 on the first week, from what I’ve gathered.

Besides, Tokyo Jungle is one of the veeeeeeery few PS3 games that work with Remote Play on the Vita! A Vita port in this regard is too long overdue!

Hmm. It’ll be interesting to see the game as a top-down sorta game. Personally I could have seen it as a 2d side scroller… Hopefully it’ll be good! I don’t own a ps3, so it was either a Vita port or bust for me.

Nice I’ll finally get to play the game, even if it’s not in its original form.
