  • Punny Fuzz

I want to know who made the strategy guide.

    • burnfist23

      Prima according to Amazon.

      • Punny Fuzz

Jesus burnfist you’re just everywhere aren’t you?

        • burnfist23

Anywhere Nippon Ichi is involved, I’m usually there.

  • Raharu95

    … I need to get a job

    • MXC

LOL Good luck with that. I’ve been on the job hunt for 3 months now and no luck(20yo btw). I’ve only been getting 1-day jobs every once in a while.

      • Prinny Dood

You to try costco or disney land.

        • MXC

Thanks for the suggestion but I live in GA.

    • Prinny Dood

Try disneyland or costco if you live in lis angeles .

    • Sergio Briceño

Try a starbucks, buy a Vita or 3DS and you get coffee and wifi gaming.

    • deadMastershiro

      I know what you mean.

  • 小百合

Oh god, my wallet… Goodbye, money.

  • Tatsumarii

I always go bonkers whenever I see a preorder link from NISA. 2013 is a great year for us JRPG fanatics. 2014 is going to be even better! ^_^ I’M SO PUMPED FOR THE FUTURE!

  • TheExile285

    That’s a nice Special Edition

  • Andrew A

I’m seriously running out of space, NISA.

    • Dood I ran out of space a long time ago! Now they are just toying with me so I have to move old games out of the way… or I could take my school books and sell them. That would free up a massive amount of space :p

  • Aqua King

    I died.

  • Pyrotek85

Gah another preorder. Running out of money and the Steam Summer sale hasn’t even hit yet lol

  • zferolie

Already Preordered the 104 one. :D

  • Randy Marsh

Screw the figs and cards, that artbook and ost, they shall be mine!

  • My wallet… How it will bleed…

  • DesmaX

October is a nice month. I can pick it up, just fine

Now, for a Guided Fate Paradox date

    • Testsubject909

Oh damn, right. I want a Guided Fate Paradox LE.

  • Lazulis

    Whooooaaaaaaaa, here’s hoping I get a summer job…

  • Tiredman

I wish they offered a way to do what I do at Gamestop and pay part of the required amount over time. Dishing out over a $100 all at once just hurts.

Yes, I am getting it, wincing all the way.

  • DrakeClawfang

Why do Flonne and Etna look like they’re about to kiss on the one card?

Why do Flonne and Etna look like they’re about to kiss on the one card?

    • Pinkemon

      * Somewhere in Nippon ichi’s marketing department*

“Hmm, what should we do to make our hetero male fans wanna get this more?!”
      “Add boobs?”
“We already have those in the game”

(Note: While I’m poking fun at this I’m still suffering over the fact that I don’t have enough money laying around to get this. ;_; Those figs are adorable)

    • biskmater

Vaguely, or not so vaguely yuri art is an old staple of disgaea, especially with those two, for some reason.

  • Is this game any good?

    • Yuriangels

      One word: It’s awesome Dood!!!

  • porkiewpyne

Bigger than Japan’s LE? O___O Wow

  • That does sound rather good, but imagine the customs fees would make the price even higher. I guess I’ll probably admire from afar. :)

  • SuBw00FeR

Already got the Japan Famitsu DX Pack, so i’ll buy the standard edition, but that strategy guide is sweet!

  • Saintdante

Too good… my wallet is crying right now….

  • Testsubject909

And another trip to the NISA store for me.

  • Kuro Kairi

I really hope this time around these actually get to be shipped outside jp.
I’m digging Etna, but I wish they made Flonne standing as well.

  • BillyMK

Oh my. I didn’t know they were capable of such a thing. That was really low! I’m speechless, I can already feel it, the pain in my wallet… It will BLEEEEED.

  • Miyako Arima

Just wondering if the strategy guide is worth the extra $20

    • Testsubject909

It’s a hardcover strategy guide. Anything else, don’t know.

  • Isaac Newton

    Wow that is some bundle!:D

  • GibbRS

I’m obsessed. I already have the Limited edition from Japan, but I’m ordering the US one too. I’ll have double the figures. ^___^

It’s too bad they aren’t offering the coffee mugs that came with the Famitsu limited edition in Japan.

For those curious if this game is any good, it’s amazing. I put maybe 100 hours into the Japanese version and absolutely loved it.

    • Radiosity

      Only 100? ;)

I’m at 200 or so and counting heh. The lack of any real tedium is delicious, so much better than 4 (those goddamn ship parts… which I didn’t even bother with after a friend got the plat and knocked around 3 years off his life in the process lol).

All the improvements to gameplay are very welcome indeed, makes the entire experience so much better.

      • GibbRS

I had an EXP innocent on the first Legendary item I found, a 5 damage sword, haha. I hated how hard it was to get good innocents in D3 and D4.

Yeah, I only put 100 hours into DD2 because I had other games to play, and I wanted to wait for the US release to put another 200-300 hours into it. ^____^

        • Radiosity

Yup, I had a couple of EXP innocents after the very first mandatory run in the item world too, along with a couple of dual specialists and other useful ones, way easier to get hold of now.

I also LOVE how you don’t need to do class world runs any more, god that crap was tedious. Just stick your guy in the aptitudes doujo and go kill some stuff to boost aptitudes, then later on just kill LoC enemies to steal their stats. That was glorious and I really hope this means NIS are going to continue with this more user-friendly approach because D2 is — gameplay wise — the most enjoyable one I’ve played by far.

  • Anime10121

Dont want the figures, but I’ll take the game and artbook :) (cancels Amazon preorder for the 85 dollar LE without strategy guide)!

    • Testsubject909

Oh hey. Thanks for reminding me to cancel my Amazon pre-order.

… Also, lately Amazon.ca has been rather unreliable. Two games now that have been released but haven’t been shipped… Back in June… It’s now mid July…

      • Anime10121

        No prob :)

Oh and Amazon.com never gives me any issues, I’d try them if you’re having bad luck with the Canadian one, or do they not ship to Canadaland?

    • You can buy strategy guide separately.

  • Dashiell A.T., esq.

I just want the figures. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy. This is tempting.

AWESOME! Just a few months away then Larharl’s back

AWESOME! Just a few months away then Larharl’s back

  • Time Sage

There is also an 80 dollar version that doesn’t inclue the Strategy Guide but includes everything else.

  • Demeanor

Just preordered, can’t resist dem NISA LEs. Thank God I have a job (though I must say, international shipping + customs mean a world of wallet HURT). XD and agreed, my space is rapidly being taken over by figures and LE goods of all sorts XD

    • Testsubject909

      *looks at the other room*

      So… Many… Brown… Boxes…

  • psycho_bandaid

Laharl is doing insane amounts of damage again, only this time its to my wallet. Gonna have to pass on this LE sadly. Still I will buy this game day one.

  • Hm, I wonder if they’ll ship the limited edition internationally :O

    • Istillduno

They always do, and so far not a single NISA package of mine has been abducted and held hostage by customs either, easily one of the best places to import from.

*Of course now I’ve gone and tempted fate customs must now be rubbing their hands in anticipation of that handling fee that’s multiple times higher than the tax itself.

  • Stephen

This… seems like a perfect “kinda expensive” after birthday present to get myself. :)

  • ReidHershel

I hate to be that guy, but the limited edition is actually 85 dollars:

    • Istillduno

There is a $105 version but the only difference is the strategy guide.

But since real men don’t need that you are technically correct.

  • Sayorain

Still want to know who is making the game guide.
