Kingdom Hearts X[chi] Is Now In Open Beta

By Spencer . July 9, 2013 . 2:21am

Square Enix moved Kingdom Hearts X[chi], the browser based Kingdom Hearts game, into open beta. You can play Kingdom Hearts X[chi] if you have a Yahoo! Japan ID by signing in here. The open beta expands the game with story quests given by Disney characters and rebalanced Raid Boss battles. Kingdom Hearts [X]chi has better team matching so players are closer in level and Raid Bosses will be adjusted depending on the strength of the team.

Kingdom Hearts [X]chi also has a chat function since it was a requested feature and in the future players will be able to get special avatar items. Between now and August 1, if you reach level 20 you’ll get a Sora Brave F card for [X]chi.

In Kingdom Hearts X[chi] you play as a keyblade wielder fighting off the rising darkness. Players will be able to explore Disney worlds including Agrabah, Dwarf Woodlands, and Wonderland Woods.

I have tried this game, not bad I can say. But it is a bit too automatic in the battle.

    • Pedro Furtado

Indeed, it’s graphically polished compared to some other Yahoo ID games, but the battle is way too much of a turn off. Maybe deck construction can decide the battle, but it seems way too much like “keep collecting strong cards to win” kinda mentality that just doesn’t seem very interesting.

  • SoundMatch

    Gonna try this.

  • SoundMatch

Been playing for about 10 min, kind of badly optimized and the gameplay is next to none as you dont select cards in you deck like Chain of Memories. Square is just trying to cash in with some social KH.

  • KHSoraKeyBlade

I’m hoping for an English release as I have no desire to play in a Japanese beta. Although I don’t have high hopes for the game it seems like it could be some what fun also that new version of Dearly Beloved was great.

    • Argama

Even if you don’t understand Japanese, It’s actually pretty easy to understand and play… Only the story quests are the confusing ones~

  • RisukuAozora

Still doing shoddy mobile or online games? Go home Square Enix, you’re drunk.

    • this a Mobage game I believe

      • Argama

        Nope… It’s a browser game…

        • that’s better

          • RisukuAozora

            it’s… not much better, however.

  • Argama

    Anyone playing this~?
I’m currently stupmed, don’t know how to finish that Quest in Dwarf Woodlands that gives a Keyblade~

And leveling is quite easy, Reached Level 15 in like a few hours~

    • KonjikinoSora

I think it says to defeat a large body near the house of the dwarfs.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

dislike if you want but this game looks like it was made in a week *opinion*

  • Ferrick

tried this… basically a phone game on a web browser… like sword girls but the only selling point of this is that its KH

  • Crystal Tong

has anyone tried equipping the keyblade that you obtain from the Drawf Woodlands quest? i’m not sure if there is an option to equip it yet
