imageXseed has Ragnarok Odyssey Ace slated for release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this winter, but you can get the Vita version in English this August. Siliconera confirmed with Sony Computer Entertainment Asia that the Asian version of Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will have Traditional Chinese, Korean, and English text. However, the voiceovers for the Asian version are only in Japanese.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is an enhanced version of the PlayStation Vita game with new Ace skills, a random dungeon maker, and new enemies. The Asian version will be available on August 29, the same day as the Japanese release, and Play-Asia is selling it for $42.90.

  • Altin

Makes me wonder – is this version going to have a different translation?

  • Kai2591

yay to Jap voice + eng text! :)

    • Wesley Kenneth Houpt Mattingly

Honestly there was so little voice acting in the first game, I doubt RO 1.5 will have much to even warrant VA mattering.

    • Sardorim

Wish Super Robot Wars games at least had English text option…

  • Dinoegg96

    Will this game have Cross-Play???

  • Will Ragnarok Odyssey Ace be dlc for Ragnarok Odyssey if u already got it on ps vita?

    • Jrpgfanatic

I’d like to know this as well considering I sprung for the collectors edition version of the original.

    • DarthSithZero

Im pretty sure it wont happen, according to videogame history you have to buy 2 or 3 times the same game.

      • Ya That’s the part that’s starting to kill the gaming industry now days.

    • Folk Hellfang

      It’s a new release, pard.

  • Vash bane

so the graphics between the vita and ps3 are the same or is one better than the other?

  • Isaac Newton

    Good News!

  • Folk Hellfang

Posts like these bleed the companies who actually give a shit about gamers. I don’t care about getting a game a month early if it means companies like Xseed suffers. The grey market does have other costs…

    • Ferrick

please read the first paragraph carefully…

      • Folk Hellfang

I’m talking about how peeps go and buy the import as a quick look and then don’t end up buying the localized version. I guess it’s not a big deal when you don’t care about small companies. Or am I still missing something?

        • Ferrick

if they wanted a quick glimpse, they would’ve went and played the demo, and to add, not everyone live in R1 regions, so why should they import from Xseed if that’s not their region to begin with ?
