Killer Is Dead Has Music For Kids That Go Nuts In Mosh Pits

By Spencer . July 13, 2013 . 3:30pm

Akira Yamaoka best known for his work on the Silent Hill games has been working at Grasshopper Manufacture in the past few years. While Yamaoka is the company’s Chief Operating Officer, he handles music like rearranging songs for Rebuild of Evangelion: Sound Impact and finding guests artists.

Yamaoka found rock band Jesse and the Bonez by going to their shows and added "Bossman" as a collaboration song for Killer is Dead.

There’s a Killer is Dead music video too, check that out below.

The game has dual audio in all regions! :D
Well another website has said so, and I think in the KID TV #6 they have a short clip of the characters speaking in English 6:32-6:45
can anyone confirm if that’s what they talk about in that video?

    • Damarius Wingfield

I’m not at that level yet.

        well thank you for trying!

Yamaoka was saying great care was taken w/ the music and voice acting performance, and they put a lot of work into the Eng voice acting as well for the international audience, and that the portrayal in the two dubs might be different, but both match the chars’ personalities very well.

Finally! I knew Mondo was Okiayu Ryoutarou from the first trailer :) It sounded like him but much deeper than his usual voice so I wasn’t sure.. Both dubs sound really good, hard to decide which one to play in first.. great don’t need to import this one like Lollipop Chainsaw :)

Pretty cool Jessica got to speak to Jesse in Eng (usually she has to try hard to keep up w/ everyone speaking Jpn).. all the 3 ladies are really beautiful…

Mondo untying Koharu’s obi *.*;… must keep spoilers to a minimum..

      • MrSirFeatherFang

I knew you’d be happy about not importing this :D
well i’m looking forward to this game as well.
oh btw looking at figurines is very tempting… I know you told me to avoid buying those though… but some of them are very pretty :(

I almost did import, until I found out the US ver indeed has dual audio and is also including the soundtrack and hardcover artbook :) (good thing AmiAmi lets me cancel). No figures, they’re like crack lol.. should just look at hi def pics taken in diff. angles on AmiAmi :) too expensive and boxes take way too much room, don’t be deceived by the cuteness of nendoroids :)

BTW, for my Amazon pre-orders, doesn’t matter if they were made before July 1st, they still added back the taxes after they shipped it now :(..

          • MrSirFeatherFang

really? oh man, I didn’t check my orders from Amazon before July 1st… well thanks for the heads up.

I keep coming back to this page, I wonder why. Our Goddess Jessica aside, I saw KiD being played at the Japan Expo in Paris and it looked very good, fluid and fast, the unique appearance is very striking! It was the battle against spider Alice, it was cool how the monster kept crawling all over the walls and Mondo had to target it with the arm machingun.
Now, I simply MUST attend a US convention one day… XD
And I want a Cutie-3 gravure card. XD

the Bonez remind me of Mad Capsule Markets abit.
