Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Hits Wii U With A Downloadable Demo

Yakuza is a fairly big series in Japan, but if missed all of Kazuma Kiryu’s adventures you can try the series befor jumping into it. Nintendo and Sega released a downloadable demo of Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U. The demo lets players sample the beginning of Yakuza and Yakuza 2.

The Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U demo is locked to 30 plays. Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U supports off TV play and has tweaks like easy mode which were also in the PS3 version.  The game comes out for Wii U on August 8 for 5,229 yen ($54).

    For Japan. Aw. Wii U could really need this for America. I think at this point, people are willing to get anything.

    I think Nintendo should localize this. Sony has had their chance for awhile now since it was on the PS3 for over a year now and I think Nintendo could capitalize on this with all the hungry Yakuza fans in NA and EU.

      The OperationRainFall page on localizing Sega and Konami games, Yakuza 5 was pretty high on votes…so who knows it could happen

        Well hey, Project Rainfall or whatever it was called worked for Wii. Got us Xenoblade, Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower. Still haven’t played PT yet, but the others are terrific and go to show you they listen to fans, as long as they’re loud.
