    :U….

    Well then.

  • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 水木

I’m over this game, they probably aren’t bothering with bringing it overseas like they stated

    • dragoon_slayer12

I agree, by the time the release a version elsewhere in the world, the title will be 3+ years old and irrelevant. As much as I want this, they mite as well just cancel the worldwide releases now instead of later

      • Ferrick

actually, by the time they release a version elsewhere in the world, the title will be 1+ year old and still relevant

        http://bumped.org/psublog/phantasy-star-online-2-to-release-in-china-and-southeast-asia-in-2014/

        it’s been announced and confirmed

        • dragoon_slayer12

Yeah, they also planned on releasing the Vita version last year too. I’m just saying, by the time it actually happens, it mite be too late. I mean, the hard core die hard fans are already playing it, while fans are patiently waiting. Those waiting mite get screwed. Just look at it, when was the last time anything was mentioned for the PAL and NA versions? Japan is updated what seems like monthly, yet I don’t remember anything about what’s happened in for any other version OUTSIDE of Japan.

          • Ferrick

well our region is basically screwed and everyone in Asian region gets their own localization

    • Joshua Myers

      Yea same here

    • Barrylocke89

Just remember that it is very possible to play Phantasy Star Online 2 in a way that is feasible for Western player, especially since the game is Free to Play (not to be confused with Pay to Win).

I wish Sega hadn’t dropped the ball with this one, and I also doubt that we’ll see an official release, but when this sort of situation happens, it’s usually best to look into alternatives that can let you enjoy the experience.

      Protip: Check out Ship 02.

    • supervamp

Ohhh no they wait for blade and soul has been longer so

      • Ferrick

3 years with confirmed NA development is long?

        • supervamp

Yeah? 3 years is very long time for localization especially since kr is already in a major update

PSO2 just not long ago was confirmed for na and it hasn’t been out that long so you know just saying

          • Ferrick

3 years counting the first announcement in KR, not when it was officially released, and it was officially released in kr just a year ago too (technically the same with pso2, first announced in tgs 2010, and released in 2012), but it is already confirmed to be in development

And there was never any confirmation from sega that they were going to make it, they just implied it, made the website and left it hanging there since late 2012

          • supervamp

The amount of expose blade and soul had compared to pso2 over the years is a big difference.
I saw nothing on it until it was nearing it’s beta been hearing about blade and soul since i was in 9th grade.

            The wait is way longer.

          • Ferrick

both had nearly equal exposure in mmo sites over the years, with the former being advertised more than the latter

the wait is definitely not longer for b&s, but it definitely is for pso2

          • supervamp

That is total bs b&s has been on the waiting list longer it’s not gonna too long before pso2 is localized b&s got it’s localization call when it in beta it’s now 2.0 and pso2 got it’s beta call shortly it lanuched

          • Ferrick

alright, i got the dates wrong for B&S, so it was 4 years, but then what ? that’s not much for something that’s definitely going to be localized, unlike pso2 that’s been delayed till indefinitely, for all we know its most likely cancelled

but so what ? 4 years is nothing compared to 12 years, that’s how long PSO fans had to wait for a new sequel (PSU and psp doesn’t count for obvious reasons)

          • supervamp

Ohhh wow yeah you sure know that b&s is sure thing and no one knows if pso2 is they both have websites that haven’t been updated since god knows when english wise the only difference pso2′s got annouced faster.
Ohhh wow yeah people have been hyping the sequal before it was even announced that proves so much

          • Ferrick

lol pso2 website has not been updated since it the website was made

          • supervamp

            Yeah same with b&s

  • Shady Shariest

Wellp…Here’s hoping they might bother making games for us lowly westerns… *cough* Yeah…

  • Katboy

sort of moved on from this game ready.. ;(

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

    Ugh -_-

  • bL4Ck

I’m in the beta test, got a mail a couple days ago, now it’s just a matter if i’ll be able to play it on my tablet or not, Google Play regional restrictions are quite hard to fool, maybe someone will upload the apk somewhere.

  • Judgephoenix

If Sega was smart they better off releasing this for current and next Gen consoles only way this gonna do ok now. I know I still wanna play it but man they need to get it together. Also the article is confusing are they restating they are working on the NA version as of August?

    • Ferrick

no, they meant that the english localization project has been backed up to an unknown date

      • Judgephoenix

No I understand that lol. I was trying to figure out if Sega was just responding again that they are working on it still. Oh well .

  • Masa

you hear the news about Sega looking to pick up the Persona developer….God i hope it never happens, its the last we’d see of that series in the West.

  • leingod

So, it’s coming out for (ugh!) android, and they still don’t have plans for localizing the damn thing?

I would’ve even payed for a boxed version at one point. Now, I’m just kinda starting to hate Sega.

  • Nate

I’m interested to see what they can pull off with an mmo and an android. Should be cool.

  • ShadowDivz

If i was still hoping for this to come to NA i’d be pretty pissed.
