It took a moment, but Locke and Celes there you are. :)
    I enjoyed it!

  • Malon

“Wish I was Fair like Zack”

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

I wish my wall scroll came to life….. anyway Spencer I didn’t know you wanted Imaginary Boys from your favorite games and anime :3

    • M’iau M’iaut

Oh I wouldn’t mind a couple of the scrolls in my collection to come to life. No imaginary boys there!

      • ShawnOtakuSomething

        (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ mine are all oppai…

  • DesmaX

… Not sure how to react to this, Siliconera-senpai

    • DyLaN

      Screw logic and have fun.

    • NTaiyokun

Leaning towards the negative side. Would’ve been a good song without all of the shoehorning.

  • brwcrw

Really, the Leetstreet Boys? I know weekends are slow for news and all, but REALLY?

    • M’iau M’iaut

It is called lets have fun. It is a darn hobby and not something to get angry about.

      • Brion Valkerion

Sir, you forget that this is the internet. Now raise your flame shield and argue back like you have been here before!!! -agreeslol-

      • This is only “fun” for you sadists who posted this.

      • brwcrw

Funny, I don’t remember being mad. Just disapproving.

  • Nyekun

Not trying to be offensive but I cringed pretty hard watching this.

    • ShawnOtakuSomething

      (¬‿¬) to?kawaii desu ne

      • ShadowDivz

        “And? cute isn’t it?”

        • ShawnOtakuSomething

well done….. I will never type those words again

  • I think there’s a reference to Chuunibyou in one of the audience shots, given the type of eyepatch and the pose one of the girls is making.

  • Antixono

I want to see a version with girls….

    • M’iau M’iaut

There is something to be said that an otome version appears before a boys dream version. We have been picking all our waifus for quite a longer time. :P

      • Antixono

Guess so…..I predict it will happen….eventually.

    • DenjinJ

Then search Youtube for “Manga Maniac”… just don’t do it at work.

  • karasuKumo

The video isn’t bad. I’m kind of glad that this was the first time I’ve heard anything from this band. and by god I hope it’s the last.

  • Trevor Nicolaysen

I find this disturbing, hilarious, and oddly ironic in the sense that for every girl who openly reveres imaginary boys there’s probably 2-4 guys that “prefer” imaginary girls.

    • VeniVidiVici

      *Reads comment*

Obviously you’ve never been to an anime convention.

      • ShadowDivz

        It couldn’t be anymore obvious.

      • Trevor Nicolaysen

I have. But if you’re going to be like that, then clearly you’ve never talked to any women at an anime convention. I am well acquainted with people (yes, all women) actually sell cool trinkets at them and others who sell clothes for them. They like anime, but despite people’s insistence that they like anime boys, they do not.

On the other hand, I know several people (all but one guys) who have waifu obsessions. Two of whom desperately try to hide it to no avail, as they really have no other interests. :l

        • VeniVidiVici

I am a woman. I talk to those women on a daily basis and trust me they are rabid about their precious “husbandos”, and this isn’t even including the yaoi fangirls. (or Tumblr dear god). I’m also not talking of the Dealer’s room or Artist Alleys. I’m talking about the attendees. Working in con shows across the Florida convention circuit such as Shado, Khaotic, Mega, Holiday Matsuri etc. the female attendees outrank the men in number and as panel hosts.

Heh, I’m actually opposite in regards to guys being obsessed. Most I know are girls with few exceptions that are guys (who are pretty mellow about it in the first place). However these girls fangirl amongst themselves when speaking of it, never to men I’ve noticed, which is probably what leads men to believe that there aren’t many that do.

  • Arasthel

    >LeetStreet Boys

    Oh christ, please no

  • mojack411

…It’s scary how well this song describes one of my friends. O.o

  • MikeTxn

    Seriously, LeetStreet Boys?

Didn’t expect this here, maybe in the Open Thread, but not as a news-worthy thing.

    • M’iau M’iaut

We have posted about anime, music, swag and plenty of other things long before the OT came into being.

    • DyLaN

I’d never heard of this thing if not for SE posting it.

And we do have some news coverage on anime-like stuff.

  • Roberto

Only dead know peace from this evil

    • M’iau M’iaut

No wonder the dead wish to return to life!

  • luckgandor

Is this the story of Spencer’s life?

Where’s the SpiceTitsGirls for the men?

  • LDM

This songs describes me perfectly! *fawns over my imaginary harem*

  • $29082171

This is something Kotaku would report on.

  • Rohan Kishibe

It’s sad to say, but if this goes viral, let the suing commence.

    • M’iau M’iaut

Everything here should fall completely under the parody umbrella. It even sounds like a Weird Al song.

    • DyLaN

Japan been parodying stuff for quite a while yet I don’t see ppl suing them…

  • Sergio Briceño

Back in university I had lots of friends that liked 2D a lot like that. They were mainly very ugly though, ranging from 4s to 6s and I remember some people being very harsh and disrespectful towards them.

Just 2 months ago I met a girl who makes them pale in comparison (otaku-wise) but turns out she is a hottie. And guess what, nobody judges her on her hobbies or preferences. Probably because she is hot.

Anyway. I was too a big otaku and I remember having listened to “Yuri the only one for me” from the LSB. I liked that song. This one, not so much. But it’s good to know that they are still making geek music and having fun.

  • Final Aura

Autotune and abc 123 lyrics made me lol
On a side note the animation looks somewhat decent

  • Raltrios

Chuunibyou, Madoka and Homura, Haruhi…the crowds are loaded.

  • LuciferD666

Doesn’t the voice sound like like this in a way.

  • Even though there’s nobody else in my house, I had to turn down my volume while I was watching this. Then I got embarrassed when my dog walked in.

    • Prinnydoom

Right there with you bro -___-

  • GuyAlpha

Their art and animation got better, at least.

  • DyLaN

Tht was pretty LOL except for the vocals.

  • hazelnut1112

    Oh god these guys again.
Are there still people out there who still care for LeetStreet boys?

  • Christopher Hughes

As they finished out the first verse I was sitting here thinking “you know what would be clever? they do a ‘imaginary girls’ bit in verse 2, and then conclude with something about recognizing that the people around you can have aspects of your fantasies already inside them.” Obviously, that did not happen…

  • Anime10121

Loved the artstyle and liked the animation!

  • ShadowDivz

    That was actually pretty good.
I don’t know why, but i was expecting it to be a waste of time.

  • fireemblembeast

This was fun to watch! But I thought it was Weird Al singing at first, lol
