imageNintendo of Taiwan is publishing Doraemon: Nobita’s Number Adventure and localizing it in Traditional Chinese. People that pick up the math game have a chance to win one of five Doraemon themed 3DSes. With only five of these made, and since the contest is only available for Taiwan the Doraemon 3DS is sure to be a rare item. Doraemon: Nobita’s Number Adventure comes out in Taiwan on September 3.

Nintendo of Taiwan has been more active recently. They’ve been localizing games like Resident Evil: Revelations and Mario Tennis Open into Traditional Chinese. The branch will also publish Shin Megami Tensei IV (although it’s still in Japanese) and Monster Hunter 4 which will be in Japanese, but have instructions in Traditional Chinese.

AWESOME. Too bad it’s not an XL, though. Kinda surprised it isn’t, to be honest! an an an, tottemo daisuki!

Hey Siliconera, make a page with all the themed 3DSs to date! XP

There’s a simple beauty with that design. I love it.

  • 5… Yikes…

I love Doraemon but man, I think the design is a bit lazy there (I mean, only PART of the face?!)

At least the color is blue…..right?^_^

It’s a very nice doraemon blue though, and there’s beauty in being subtle yet instantly recognizable, sometimes less is more :) I would love this if I don’t have a Jpn aqua alrdy..

on a side note does anyone know why doraemon’s name had been changed in Hong Kong? Now it’s called doraemon like in Jpn instead of the old Chinese name “Ding Dong”, I can’t really find an explanation… just thought kinda weird..

Will publish SMTIV? I thought it’s already released, at around the same time as the NA release too. They even got almost the same package as us. I THINK their CD cover is different, not sure if it’s the same CD. And their guidebook is in Chinese (which was useful, but it looks like the same thickness as ours so it covers only a portion of the game)

For a super rare god-tier collectible, that’s kind of a boring design. I’m loving that shade of blue, though.

IMAGINE IF THAT WAS TOTORO’S SILHOUETTE, with Studio Ghibli branded at the bottom, and is a bundle for Ninokuni 3DS.

  • Zero_Destiny

Wow, I imagine whoever is lucky enough to get one, that it will be the pièce de résistance for their collection.
