969804_176520509197460_425182383_nBack in December, Siliconera noticed a little title called Dungeons & Golf, which is a Pangya-like game with a fantasy setting. The game was released in Japan and it’s being localized in English.

Gala will release the game in North America. At launch, Dungeons & Golf has ten playable characters (one of them looks like a demon girl) and 52 courses to play. While Dungeons & Golf doesn’t have magic, there are special balls players can obtain.

Dungeons & Golf has real time multiplayer, which sounds pretty strange since players can bump into each other while they’re shooting on the field at the same time.

  • Not that I have a problem with Pangya, per se. I just wasn’t a fan of the excessively overpriced microtransactions that plagued the online version of it.

I’ll have to take a look at it when it drops. I’m hoping it’s not nearly as bad for the pay-to-win model, though.

I play the Pangya online game on and off every few months. It is good, but yeah, if there is something you want and it’s only in like a very rare lucky bag, you will spend a lot of money… I spent too much trying to get the Fox girl twin caddies last december because they are SO ADORABLE!

I need to go back and play more. if you ignore the microtransactions, which you really can and not loose out much, the game is a very solid fun golf game,

that’s why I played the psp version instead

That PSP version was pretty damn great.

This is the closest thing to the Phatasy Par Online game that I have always wanted.

  • Jrpgfanatic

Pangya PSP was really fun, I’m definitely going to give this a try!

    • leingod

It was pretty cool. Makes me want another one for the Vita.

I haven’t commented in a while and the title itself is enough to make me want to. :)

I saw Pangya and Android and I was sold.
