  • Argh I want surprises

    • British_Otaku

There is always a chance of them announcing something new I think… The latest Gundam vs Gundam has been stuck on the arcades, we need another portable one.

We will get surprised when we watch the 8 minute PVs or extended play of the demos and see something fresh anyway, some of these titles have no footage or clear gameplay outside snippets of trailers.

    • 하세요

Internet has ruined that word for years now.

      • Well more like new games not ones that they’ve already announced. I would expect to see PS4 titles at TGS by now

  • hazelnut1112

Any chance we might get Jojo’s to come stateside.
Importing sounds neat since region free, but holy hell is it costly just to import.

    • TiAn

I just want bilingual menu and some subtitles :/

  • Carlos Luis Ayala

Two new J Stars I bet

    • zaidandzhadow

Plesa be it Tsuna and Yugi

      • Carlos Luis Ayala

Yes but these 4 make sense because of recent announcenents for them
        Pegasus Seiya
        Nisekoi character

  • theman_714

games which will never see an overseas release

    • AkuLord3

Actually false…a few are coming over and some might have a chance~

      • landlock

22 have no chance at all.

      • Renaldi Saputra

Namco Bandai is notorious for not bringing many games overseas.. especially like SRW series, visual novel, or many niche titles (except Tales series, but I think Tales isn’t a niche title)

many of them are niche titles, so yes, only few (especially one piece [europe only] dragon ball and naruto) will be localized

        • Eefara

Tales may not be niche, but that doesn’t stop them from not localizing the games. :P

(Although I’m hoping this trend will stop with Xillia and Xilla 2.)

          • Renaldi Saputra

I know.. Tales series are usually localized anw
not like another niche titles which almost got no chance of localizing

except those games which aren’t fully owned by Namco Bandai

        • J_Joestar

well 90% of the SRW are licensing nightmares, the ones that aren’t tend to be too costly to localize for their expected audience size outside of Japan.

          • Renaldi Saputra

nevertheless, fans outside japan aren’t hindered to enjoy those kind of games..
my friend said that you don’t have to be able to understand/read japanese fully, because the gameplay can be understood just by playing it often..

however, the big problem came when some of SRW games were made for 3DS.. well you know what I mean

          • Steven Higgins

But what if you want to understand the story but are hopeless with foreign languages?

          • Renaldi Saputra

maybe the players are mostly mecha-fans and had known the story by watching some mecha anime..
            my friend said that

    • subsamuel01

Dragonball Z, Seint Seiya, and probably God Eater will come overseas. Everything else Japan, and maybe Europe for like One piece.

where is soul calibur I want more soul calibur

  • Akemi Homura

Aren’t the Soul Calibur and Tekken teams tied up helping with the new Smash Bros? I think that could be why we’re not seeing many surprises from Namco Bandai recently.

    • leingod

I don’t even know what that is.

      • Keiji Johnson

It’s basically the Japanese title for Retro Game Challenge for the Nintendo DS.

      • pantsonadog

You should probably go watch Game Center CX then. It’s great.

        • leingod

          Gonna look it up, then.

          • pantsonadog

Good choice friend. Hopefully it will bring you lots of laughter as it did me.

      • Arino is disappoint.

  • Renaldi Saputra

  • leingod

Well, at least the Vita is getting some love.

  • I didn’t think Tamagotchi were still popular.

    • Renaldi Saputra

in Japan, it’s very very popular since 1996 until now..
and it’s one of Namco’s big foundation

  • Spirit Macardi

And, of course, no sign of the Child of the Wind…

    • Göran Isacson

I’m almost starting to think those games were like Yuepow- nothing but a dream we must one day, unfortunately, wake up from…

  • KonjikinoSora

I thought All-Star Battle would be playable.

    • Freakmasta

The game would already be released by then so no point.

  • Surgeon of Death

  • Kevin Schwarz

No announcement of a NEW Tales, huh?

    • JustThisOne

Magician can’t show all his tricks. :>

  • HerosLight

Looking forward to those tons of videos of J-Stars Victory.

  • Jesse

…I don’t remember seeing any news about Super Heroine Chronicle during the TGS. D=
