Melpharia March Looks Like Square Enix’s Take On Plants Vs. Zombies

Square Enix announced a "line strategy RPG" called Melpharia March for Japan and the gameplay sounds kind of like Plants vs. Zombies. Enemies march from the right side of the screen to the left. Players act as the commander and set troops on five lines to stop them.

Melpharia March is actually a spinoff of another Square Enix game, Fantasy Earth Zero. Both games are set in the same world and share characters.

Melpharia March will be released as a free to play game for iOS devices in September.
