image ZeniMax, the parent company of Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Softworks, id Software and The Evil Within make Tango Gameworks filed a trademark for Soulburst in the USA.

Soulburst may not be a new game—it could be downloadable content since ZeniMax also filed trademarks for Dawnguard and Hearthfire, two downloadable packs for The Elder Scrolls V.

ZeniMax also registered “Fus Ro Dah,” after the meme.

Fus Ro Dah isn’t really a meme. It’s just something your character shouts in Skyrim to blow people away.
    Just clarifying this.

    • It became a meme when everyone started being goofy with it, sort of like the arrow to the knee thing. I believe that’s what they were referencing.

  • “Soulburst” sounds more like a Japanese fighting game involving big-boobed high school girls.

It makes me think of Soul Blazer but maybe that’s just me.

      • I loved that game. I’m still pissed that Terranigma never got released in the US.

        • Zero_Destiny

Yeah, that’s a shame, things back then were a real crap shot though. I’m glad we got Illusion of Gaia, I’m thankful for that.

          • I got Illusion of Gaia off of QVC, the shopping channel! That’s how I got Earthbound, too. :) Both probably flopped. :( Both belong on the eshop, though (as does Terranigma). Actraiser was on the Wii VC, but I don’t think any of the other Quintet (I think that was the dev?) games did.

          • Zero_Destiny

Well thankfully Earthbound is finally on the Wii U eShop! :) I’ve been playing it on the GamePad, it’s a very nice re-experience. Breath of Fire II just came out the eShop yesterday too, I was ecstatic over that. xD Glad to see it.

I would love to see more games like those on the eShop. Yeah, it’s Quinetet, and I don’t think any of their other stuff made it to the Wii’s Virtual Console. I’d love to see Lufia finally make it over, and the other Quintet games too.

          • Was Lufia Quintet, too? Gosh, I loved those first two Lufia games. I wish we’d get SNES games on the 3DS. Guess I’ll have to wait until I inevitably get a WiiU.

          • Zero_Destiny

Oh no, no, no. lol Lufia was Neverland, I just wanna see those games on the eShop too.

          • Yeah, it’s crazy how much stuff has never gotten onto the eshop, I guess either due to licenses or perceived lack of monetary gain.
