The 32GB memory card is the only reason I wish I would have waited -_-

Oh well. Maybe one day their memory cards will be more affordable.. as even with their recent price cuts it’s still way over priced for a memory card.

    • Ric Vazquez

I know that feel, it makes the $250 I spent on the ACIII bundle look like wasted money T.T

  • Duc PC-QB

    What ?
This means they wont produce the old model anymore ?

    • tubers

      Yeah, kinda confusing.

Is it just the 3G/Wifi version that they’re clearing out or both the 3G/Wifi and Wifi-only?

“3G/Wifi” could still mean 3G/Wifi and Wifi-only though.

      Hope author clarifies.

      • Solomon_Kano

It says it includes an NTT DoCoMo card, so it’s just the 3G/Wi-fi model.

  • Minos

I thought they would realese a cheaper Model without the OLED screen, but not that they would get rid of the previous model….

    • Maybe there’s something special about the new LCD screen that makes it as good as the OLED. (I secretly hope not, because I am trying to justify not “upgrading”!)

      • Elvick

Nope. Some comparisons out already, one showing Ragnarok Odyssey Ace title screen and it looks horrible on the LCD. Looks lovely on the OLED though.

        Downgrade for sure.

  • konsama

If this is out on the west i surely will even get it, mostly for the mem card, tho IMO still reckless buy is reckless buy, cuz there’s not many games i’m interested for it… :/

  • epy

If you guys got money it would be wise to get this now, lest you want to browse ebay and witness outrageous prices when it turns out the new LCD screen sucks (at least in comparison). I know I would.

    • KonniSekai

LCD and OLED, which is better?
      Have no experiences with them.

    • SuperSailorV

I can only HOPE that’s the way this goes! I already have a Vita.

  • Sheesh. Nice bundle. I guess I’m more jealous of all the Japanese Vita games that exist which I want that were mentioned in this story, though. (That and I paid full price for my Vita and probably quite a bit for my 32GB card… and now want the 64GB but can’t imagine paying that much…)

  • Solomon_Kano

This is a damn good deal. I wouldn’t do anything with that 3G, but it’s a good deal.

  • xAtKx

Anyone know how much this would cost to import?

  • SlickRoach

At times like this I regret getting my Vita last month. Costed $250 and about $35 for a measily 8 GB memory card. Worst. Timing. Ever. =___=

  • SetzerGabbiani

Hopefully the final model has the OLED again. Still holding out on the Vita even though I bought P4 Golden when it released.

  • isotrex

As of right now, they clearly monopolizes the vita memory card.
