Deus Ex Universe, Hitman Go Trademarks Registered By Square Enix

imageDeus Ex is one of Square Enix’s key franchises after the success of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The universe expanded with Deus Ex: The Fall, which focuses on a different protagonist, Ben Saxon, and takes place after the Icarus Effect novel.


Square Enix surely has more plans for Deus Ex and registered a trademark for Deus Ex Universe in Europe. Square Enix Europe also filed trademarks for Hitman Sniper and Hitman Go. Perhaps, one of those Hitman trademarks is for Square Enix Montreal’s game? The studio opened in 2012 and their first game was announced to be a Hitman title.
