Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Upgraded With Silicon Studio’s Tools

By Spencer . September 15, 2013 . 11:40pm

Silicon Studio, the developer of Bravely Default and 3D Dot Game Heroes, makes video games, but their specialty is developing tools for developers. Square Enix’s Luminous Engine uses some of Silicon Studio’s software and so does Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 uses YEBIS for post-processing effects. Another change is the time when Noire, Vert, and Blanc join your party has been adjusted. Speaking of Blanc, here are new screenshots of her in the PlayStation Vita remake.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 comes out on October 31 in Japan.

GOOD. The other CPUs joined far too late in the original game. If this gets localized I’m gonna have to get a Vita. :p

“Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Upgraded With Silicon”
    Would’ve been enough :3

    • Spider-Man

I like the way you think.

        Thanks mister Spiderman! :3
        Edit: Are you the famous 60’s one?As a BTW…

        • Spider-Man

He is a relative.I am based on the one who died at the poor age of 15.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Upgraded With Silicon…era? Lol

      • Shady Shariest

        Ishaan would approve :P

  • I want this game. I hope NISA will bring it to EU and USA. Please, please localize it.

    • Tyler Beale

WITH Full Voices this time, just like with the character DLC.

Also, I pray that the Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory costumes are unlockable/DLC, and visible during Events instead of just on the character models. Seriously, I like the Victory costumes better.

Finally I can give everyone glasses!
    I think I have a fetish

The games themselves don’t have too much fanservice or creepiness, except for one or two very specific moments(that most jRPG have, anyway)
Its basically artwork, battles, artwork, exploration. Pretty much a visual novel with exploration and battles.

The character development is very good too.
I’m not surr I would watch the anime, though…heard it has too much bouncing tits..maybe I would watch because of I do like the characters…then again, not a great fan of watching anime in general.

(Strangely enough, most Neptunia’s characters are flat,so I dont really understand how people are saying the anime is Kagura’s level…its probably just mindless hatred)

I love anime, but I found the first episode of Neptunia rather boring. Perhaps it’s not my genere…

    • Renaldi Saputra

the anime was just for promotions.. nothing more
or maybe for appealing nijikon and hardcore fans to buy their figures or another otaku stuffs of Neptune series

      • supervamp

They did good on it so it doesn’t even need a response like this.

    • supervamp

The anime didn’t have as much breast to bounce but it had a lot of fan service, though i found the story to really funny and it was really nice even though i haven’t even played the games. That and i wish there was more fan service in the future you can never have too much comedy.

  • That’s really cool, and I hope Noire, Vert, and Blanc join our party sooner than later this time around =^_^=

    • DriftSlave

I think they are all going to be readjusted to better balance the game, remember the original game outside of DLC, you had just Compa and Iffy the majority of the game….the CPU’s were optional(which is why their names could be edited and were referred to as “Hearts”).

Me thinks 5pb. is a shoe-in maker to make it(no pun intended) into Re;Birth.

      • Mr_SP

I hope we get the character DLC included in the game – preferably, with the Victory DLC characters, too. I never buy that stuff when it’s on the store, because it never comes out fast enough. By the time it’s released, there’s no reason for me to pick the game up again, just to level up characters with few events and no relevance. And that’s not even talking about the level break DLC. It’s a waste of good design work.

        • DriftSlave

Difference in opinion I guess, people I know spend a unhealthy amount of time playing the game when it’s released, the DLC gives them a incentive to do additional playthroughs or what not.

  • Aristides

0-0 I’m so afraid of all these new Vita games not being localized…

    • Renaldi Saputra

well, neptune series are always localized all this time.. so don’t lose hope

      • KuroNathan

        Neptune idol…

        • Renaldi Saputra

oh well, I forgot to say that only the RPG one not the spin-offs

        • That one just came out recently, so it will probably take a while to localize.

  • leingod

If that means it’ll have better and stable framerate, I’m game.

  • Göran Isacson

One hopes the battles to make them join are more balanced than they used to be… man those were some dull fights.

  • Awesome, this game is going to be really great! It better come to the west, after all the series sells better here than it does in Japan for some completely strange reason.
