D4, Swery65’s Murder Mystery Game, Can Be Played With Kinect Or A Controller

By Kris . September 19, 2013 . 11:33pm

D4 is Deadly Premonition director Swery65’s next game. It’s an episodic murder mystery where you play as a private investigator solving your wife’s murder. The problem is you can’t recall your memories, but you can travel in time after finding different objects.

D4 was announced for Xbox One and at E3 it was demoed with Kinect controls. Siliconera met with Swery65 at Tokyo Game Show and he said while he designed D4 with Kinect in mind he realizes some people are unable to use it in their house or are shy, so he also added a controller option. We’ll have more about D4 soon.

I’m not against Kinect so I’d probably use it for D4. Hell, I’m one of the 10 people in the world that liked Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor.

      So much potential! *__*

    Keanu Reeves, whatchu doin’ here?!

Jokes aside, I really like the aesthetics here. I wanted to know a lot more about this game when it was announced, but info on this game is sealed with a tight lid. :I

      Good Kinect Use Keanu.

Hmm, “Murder Mystery” immediately hooked me up, but now the trailer looks more like an action game. I hope this game still turns out to be good.

  • leingod

Looks interesting, but graphically underwhelming. Just like Deadly Premonition.

  • Kei-chan

I wish this was on current gen, with those graphics it could have just as easily been a 360 title. I don’t wanna buy a Xbox one to play this >_>

    • GGear0323

The graphics are not why this is a next gen title. the new Kinect is.

  • Göran Isacson

My mighty need for this game is only matched with my mighty apathy for XboxOne. Mine is certainly a life of struggles.

Hopefully Director’s Cut edition will arrive on PS4 within a year of this releasing for Xboxone
