A game which has been ported so one can play it on a healthy percentage of the consoles and handhelds known to man now gets an Android port.

    Nothing to shock here folks.

    • X14

It’s shocking it’s not another FFIV port.

      • M’iau M’iaut

        Point accepted….

  • eilegz

its square enix we are talking about, anything below VI will get ported to.

Its not surprising if we see FF VI after this one

    • ElAbuelo69

V has been released less times than VI actually.

      • M’iau M’iaut

Not sure on that. VI has PS1 and GBA. V has PSN, Wii, iOS and now Android.

          At least in America…
Final Fantasy VI has been released on: SNES (as III), Wii VC (as III), PS (on Anthology), PSN, GBA.

Final Fantasy V has been released on PS (on Anthology), PSN, GBA, iOS.

And yes, soon Android so they will be even.

  • I’d like a PSP version, or better yet Vita. I don’t want to play it on my phone. I still wish the iOS FFIV would get a PSP version, but I think that might be confusing to the consumer since there’s already an FFIV on PSP (best version, actually!).

Any chance there is a localized version for the US?

  • Raoni Marques

Too bad my darn phone battery dies too quickly…

  • Rogerrmark

Love this game, played to death, the Job System is so addicting(so one can guess my hype for Bravely Default).

    Gonna play again.

Is the GBA version inferior in any way to the SNES version? I know some SNES to GBA ports had to be downgraded in a few ways.

Also how’s the DRM on the iOS version? The DRM on many of the Android games by SE is atrocious. I paid for Chaos Rings and have a long and annoying file check every time I launch the game, makes me not want to play it. Some of the other games are worse.

Of course pirates don’t have to deal with that bs. I actually know a few people who have pirated it even though they own it just to not have to deal with the DRM.

Im not supporting this on Phone though I would gladly support this on PSP/Vita. SquareEnix you better give us old school fans a port of this.
