My window of time for buying a 2nd Vita memory card has shortened considerably.

you know you could actually transfer games / applications to your PS3. that’s what I had been doing, then I’ll delete them and free up more space.

unless of course you don’t own a PS3 or you ran out of space on your PS3 too.

      • Chrystofax

PC would work too though wouldn’t it?

        • LanceHeart

Yes, there’s an app for PC as well.

Takes too long if you’re going to switch back and forth though. I had a 32GB card and we’re talking hours to back up and then more hours to restore.

        Easier to just swap sticks.

But then I was doing so much switching I actually snagged a 2nd vita so I didn’t have to region swap anymore so I probably don’t represent what the community majority in this regard. Still stick swapping is way easier than backup/restore.

They sped up the transfer process, last time it took 25min to backup 18gb on my ps3.

          • http://www.unit03.net blackraen

Yeah, that’s still too much time. That’s basically 25min to backup your Region1 stick content, then 5-10 min to firmware reset to Region2 account, then another 10 – 25 minutes to restore your Region2 stick contents.

Stick swap means you only need to do the firmware reset, and if you’re not really heavily dependent on the secondary region, you could easily get away with an 8GB stick which look to be about $20 now-a-days. Waaaaaay easier, especially if you’re doing it more than once a week.

This. With a 4GB card I’m already backing up files to my PS3 every time I want to change games. I hate it.

Hypothetically speaking, wouldn’t just adding it to your download list count? I still have demos and items on my download list that I could redownload that aren’t available on PSN anymore.

  • Wait what

I’m assuming this will be the JP PSN store only, right?

    • FetusZero

Most likely.. I’d be happy for the Vita being region free if it weren’t such a pain to actually use that “feature”.. They REALLY should of made it like the PS3, with several accounts, hell even just two accounts would be great and it would make things a LOT easier for us.

    Hnnnng cuteness overloading!

I wonder if Project Diva F sold well in the states? I really wished there was better reporting on sales figures for games in the states aside from vgchartz who apparently pulls it out of their asses or something

That demo will be mine >_<

Akatsuki Arrival is one of my favorite songs, so I can’t wait.

Wonder why it’s a limited demo.

    I hope a substantial part of F 2nd’s list aren’t rehashes.

So the PSV version is now “F” too instead of “f” on the previous release, huh.
