mock_flat_L_FINALSorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God is a Mystery Dungeon style RPG that’s all about cooking curry. Players guide Pupuru through dungeons where she gathers ingredients to cook up a legendary curry to save her friend’s restaurant, Smile Curry. While you’re in a dungeon you can actually cook curry which will boost your stats.

Aksys will release Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God later this year and the Hot and Spicy, Everything Nicey Limited Edition has almost everything you need for a curry dinner. It includes the Vita game, a Kuu spoon, plate, and bib. Kuu is this little creature that follows Pupuru when she descends into a dungeon. Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God will also be available as a standalone game.

  • Oooh Im gonna buy this game with demon gaze once they come out

  • I’m looking forward to this. I really like games that let me make things, and this being “making food” along with being a rougelike dungeon crawler? I’m completely sold.

  • Kaitsu

Time to get a child just for this game.

  • Albert Calderon

Totally going to get this LE but how do I explain it to my friends and family.. lol

  • efholic

This along with Neptunia V’s lunchbox, I think my future child will be set for life

  • Demeanor

“Hot and Spicy, everything Nicey LE”… best name after Takaki’s Nyuu Nyuu DX Pack XD

  • chibiwall

    eu release?

  • Lumi

The style reminds me strongly of Recettear. Are they made by related companies? (Or is it just because of the font used?)

    • neocatzon

No, Recettear is developed by EasyGameStation, a doujin dev. This one is developed by Compile Hearts.

      • Lumi

I guess it’s just the font then! The text and other interface here looks surprisingly similar to Recettear. Maybe the 2 localization teams used the same font?

      • Ladius

This is wrong, Sorcery Saga is by Zerodiv, the developer of the Class of Heroes series and Minz 0. Compile Heart acts as publisher.

        • neocatzon

Ah, Siliconera even have an article about this. Yes, I made a mistake.

  • r0gamer940

it says winter 2013 but winter starts on the 21st of December

  • Jrpgfanatic

I think this will be the first time I pass on an Aksys limited edition. I just don’t see what they were thinking with this one. Regardless, excited about the actual game!

  • Aristides

This is the kind of LE that makes me want to get my GF knocked up. You have my money Aksys!

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

You can tell Acksys has a ball making these up. I love them

  • fairysun

‘Honey, this is our daughter playing. I swear, I only help her’

  • Balalaika

This sounds like something Nintendo rejected and Sony picked up so to add another game to the Vita.

  • Pichi

LE is so crazy that I must get it.

  • Even though I won’t get a Vita for a long while, I was going to get the game no matter what. But I especially must get the LE now.

On a related note, everyone realizes adults can also wear bibs too, right? Joe’s Crab Shack, yeah? Adult or child, you’ll need a bib to handle such intense curry~!

  • bigboss09

by the way is this game will have an English dub or only Japanese voice ?

  • Oh lawd, a bib. I gotta say I love Aksys for their creativity with their CEs.
