Grand Knights History’s Online Service Shutting Down Next Month

Earlier today, Marvelous AQL announced that the company will be ending the online services of their PSP RPG, Grand Knights History, developed by Dragon’s Crown makers, Vanillaware. The game was originally released on September 2011.

Grand Knights History’s online feature had players represent one of the game’s three kingdoms, and put them in groups to fight against others of the opposing side. Winning these battles allowed them to expand their territory, win rewards, and rank higher on the leaderboard.

While the game’s online service will be ending on October 31, 2013, the offline version of the War Mode will not be affected, and players will still have access to it.

Grand Knights History was originally picked up for localization by Xseed, but the game’s western release was subsequently cancelled due to a lack of development resources.
