Nintendo has a promotion in Japan that’s on par with the $30 eShop credit with Fire Emblem: Awakening and Shin Megami Tensei IV deal. If you purchase two Nintendo 3DS games between September 1 and January 13, 2014 and register them to a Club Nintendo account, Nintendo will give you a download code for another 3DS game for free.
This promotion includes Monster Hunter 4, which has been a mega seller in Japan already. Pokémon X & Pokémon Y are included too when they come out later this month.
