Vita Dungeon Crawler From Demon Gaze Makers Has A Bit Of Demon’s Souls In It

imageMore details about Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss leaked online and the game took a cue from Demon’s Souls. Players will be able to leave messages for each other in dungeons which can show up in other player’s games.

Another neat idea is the Rise & Drop system. As you defeat enemies, the Encounter Gauge fills up. When this rises you will fight stronger enemies, which drop better items. This way you won’t fight fodder enemies for too long in Tokyo New World Record.

Cyberfront will release the PlayStation Vita game on January 23 in Japan.

    My interest is piqued.

Looks like a game on an extremely tight budget. This game was developed in less than a year including alpha? I hope its actually an improvement to Demon Gaze.

Bring this one over too! can’t wait for Demon Gaze!

Base on the art in the picture, looks like this game takes in the Generation Xth universe.

  • It was an interesting feature having messages in Demon Gaze, so assuming it works in the same way I’m glad to see it make a comeback (or does it work differently in Demon’s Souls? I’ve not played that game.) but I really like the idea of the Rise and Drop system. Sounds like it could be fun.

Demon Gaze also does the message thing too, though I think most people just used it for creative ways to make dirty messages using the set phrases.
