Set Up Your Own Galaxian Wars Tournament In Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers

By Spencer . October 3, 2013 . 12:50am

Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers kind of incorporates the Galaxian Wars event in the PlayStation 3 game. Namco Bandai used this storyline as a base for the game’s tournament mode, which puts eight characters in a tournament. While you’re fighting, an announcer will comment on the state of the battle.

Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers also has a survival mode and online fights. There are two separate ranks in the game one for regular characters and Custom Battle where you can fight with enhanced characters. Online players are also ranked in different leagues, Saint, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. When you knock out ten players in one rank you may move up to a new league, but you can also be demoted to a lower league if you lose too many matches.

Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers comes out on October 17 in Japan and November 26 as a PlayStation Network download in the U.S. and Canada.

    Oh man, this sounds awesome!

    • Aoshi00

But a bit funny to see isaac in the ring with hyoga since it s supposed to be the bronzes fighting for the gold cloth :) I wanna remake the Shun vs Jabu match, one of the best fights in the Galaxian wars :)

    • Crimson_Cloud

Hmm, it sounds awesome but I can already see only few lines being repeated over and over. Well, anything is better then nothing I guess. ^^’

    Time to re-enact the scene.

  • Nice Boat Quatro

Why did I remember this scene?

An arcade mode ala Mortal Kombat would be cool too… although this is similar, I guess.

  • Vash bane

so this mode goes a SF route(which I suck at in general)

They neglected to mention Hydra is playable. In fact, here is most of the character roster:

Not very impressed with the roster, but it was kind of expected. I
would’ve though the different bronze armor versions would be costumes
instead of a different slot. There is at least 20 slots which are a
complete waste and could’ve been used for other saints.

Still, the game will be epic and I can’t wait to have it in my hands.
